I've been waiting all day for some kind of inspiration to write about. Just hasn't really been anything coming to mind. This week will be normal. Nothing out of the ordinary on my work schedule. Pretty sure there is nothing on my day to day calendar either. Next week will be my first laser hair removal appointment is Tuesday and I'm working Wednesday, so a little bit more going on then.
The weather has been particularly cold lately, ready for it to warm up about 10-20 degrees. Also made it difficult to regularly take my neighborhood walks which I've really been enjoying. Been playing a few games but nothing is really getting it's hooks in. I've been going through the backlog and I'm just not feeling any of it.
I know there is a community center somewhere in Grove City and I keep meaning to check out if there are events/groups that might be worth checking out. Maybe even the YMCA but I figure there is probably a membership requirement for what goes on there. Not entirely sure it would be worth it. Once I'm not covered in body hair using the pool might be good option. It seems like looking into social organizations still ends up in doing things by myself. Most of the time I genuinely prefer flying solo. Makes it much easier to enjoy the things I want to do.
There is a different kind of joy experiencing things as a community. Even if that community is one other person. Finding some small social groups will hopefully create some of those opportunities.
Over the years so many of my hobbies are rooted in self-improvement. This has become EXHAUSTING! Truly, I want to participate in something just for the joy of it. No challenges, no responsibility, just participation. A movie club is the dream. Maybe I'll have some updates next Sunday.
Most exciting thing in my life right now is breakfast. I found a simple recipe that I've been trying to perfect. Yogurt, protein powder, fiber, and 100g of frozen fruit. Not enough yogurt, I don't like the texture. More yogurt, when the fiber kind of expands it makes A LOT to eat. I've also just been using frozen cherries and that is a bad choice. I got some blueberries and strawberries to try this time. I'm also going to switch containers. I've been using two 8 oz containers so I'm going to switch to 6 oz containers. 12 oz might be the sweet spot. Riveting.
